Email branding

Your logo, colours and footer on every email Maelo sends for you.

02

Header and colours

Email Header chooses what sits across the top. Pick Colour for a solid band, or Banner to use your banner image. Like the logo, the banner is uploaded in Profile Info, not here.

There are two colours to set. Button colour is the fill on every action button, the "View Appointment" and "Complete waiver" kind. Header colour is the band at the top, and only appears as an option when the header is set to Colour, because a banner covers it anyway.

Tip

Pick a button colour with real contrast against white. Buttons carry the one action you want the client to take, and a pale button on a pale email gets missed on a phone in daylight.

What you cannot change

A few things are fixed, and they are worth knowing so you can word your own copy around them.

  • Emails arrive from your name followed by "via Maelo". Clients see who it is from, and replies do not land in a stranger's inbox.
  • A "Sent via Maelo" line sits below your branded card, outside your own footer.
  • Every email ends with a note that it is automated and asks the client not to reply to it. Conversations belong in their Client Hub, where you will actually see them.

Note

Because clients cannot reply by email, give them a way through in the message itself. Most of the standard emails already carry a button back to their request or a contact link.

Preview and test

The Email Preview panel beside the settings is the real thing, not a mockup. Change a colour and it updates as you go. On a phone, use the Edit and Preview tabs, or swipe between them.

When it looks right, tap Send test email at the top of the preview. It sends a real branded email to your own address, and confirms where it went. Open it on your phone, because that is where nearly every client will read it.

Branding changes save on their own as you type, and apply to every email that sends from then on, including the automated ones on your timeline.
