Maelo fees
Maelo charges a small fee on payments processed through the platform. The exact percentage is shown when you take a payment, so there are no surprises.

Stripe fees
Stripe also charges its own processing fee, which varies by region and card type. This is separate from Maelo's fee and goes to Stripe.

Worked example
On a deposit, the client pays the full amount; the Maelo fee and Stripe fee are deducted, and the remainder settles to your balance. The Financial Hub shows the breakdown per payment.
