Payouts

Know where
your money is.

Every payout carries a status, its dates and the trace your bank can look up. Maelo shows all of it, and shows nothing it cannot actually prove.

Available and pending

A charge is not a balance yet.

Card money settles before you can move it. Maelo shows available and pending as two separate numbers, so available means available and a payout never surprises you.

Each currency keeps its own balance. Work in two and you see two, never one merged figure that hides which half is which.

5%

Maelo's fee, charged on deposits. Your client can cover it, and by default they do.

Currencies, each with its own balance and its own payouts.

When it goes wrong

A failed payout that tells you what to do.

Stripe has nineteen ways a payout can fail. Fifteen of them mean your bank details need updating, which Maelo genuinely cannot do for you. So the message carries the bank's own reason and opens the one place that can change it.

A payout that has not left yet can be cancelled. The full history exports to CSV, which is worth saying because no Stripe endpoint returns one.
